A New Metro Substation is under construction in Summerlin
Summerlin is getting a new Metro Police substation. Its being built on a 4.75 acres west of the 215 Beltway between Summerlin Parkway and Far Hills Avenue, just not of the Vistas Village of Summerlin. The substation will be approximately 24,000 Square feet and will open in the fall of 2019. Funded by The Howard Hughes and on donated land, the Summerlin Area Command substation will be deeded to Metro, “the Metropolitan Police Department” once complete. The facility is expected to house approximately 168 off cars and service the west and not west part of Las Vegas including homes in Summerlin. Read More Here
