The Vistas Village of Summerlin was originally built and developed by the Howard Hughes Corporation in 2000 with new homes being built all the way through 2010.  The Vistas Village sits high off the Las Vegas Valley floor at an elevation of approximately 3000 feet in what is considered West Summerlin. This elevation difference is of the things that make living in the Vistas Village of Summerlin and the Paseos Village, right next door, so special as its often between 7 and 10 degrees cooler in the Vistas Village in the summer not mention the fact the topography and elevation of the area affording residents and visitors of the Vistas Village spectacular views in almost every direction. The 815-acre Vistas Village of Summerlin features both single family and multifamily communities. It was in fact the first village developed in the western region of Summerlin.
